Life of Saint John the Golden Mouth.

This film produced by the Coptic Church of Egypt tells the story of the life of
Saint John Chrysostom, bishop of Antioch and Patriarch of Constantinople.
The film follows his journey in life, from being a young fun loving lawyer to
that of a courageous and much loved cleric. The film also clearly demonstrates
Saint John is given the name Chrysostom, the Golden Mouth, as he was a
forceful and eloquent speaker.

The story of Saint John Chrysostom's life is very edifying and enjoyable,
combining elements of his own personal decisions, political intrigues and much
of his insightful wisdom. It is interesting as a work of hagiography, biography
and as a historical film. Although the film is entirely in Arabic, English subtitles
are also available.
